"I am uncomfortable with the rebranding of determinism through a belief system that is often imposed upon me and other people and when we say we are uncomfortable with it being imposed upon us (not structurally, just, you know, often) because of the determinism, a lot of other queer people who have done some work unpacking the way that imposition of mainstream religions is at best annoying and at worst pretty harmful get really defensive because they see your discomfort with being prescribed a personality as itself a form of bigotry against them or at best just you being a buzzkill instead of considering perhaps Why Some Queer People Are Uncomfortable With Deterministic Structures Being Used On/Against Them, and if you do something like refuse to give your birthday/sign because of how uncomfortable it makes you there's a chance you will just be publicly pressured into doing so anyways in favour of Not Being A Buzzkill Or Bigoted Against Pagan Or Personal Or Mystic Feminist Practices"
